On Sunday, Taibah Academy in Maadi organized a symposium entitled “Palestine in the Heart,” under the patronage of Professor Dr. Siddiq Afifi, President of Taibah Educational Institutions and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Merritt University.
The symposium was attended by journalist Osama Al-Dalil, head of the political affairs department at Al-Ahram Al-Arabi magazine, and it was attended by a large number of Taiba Academy leaders, male and female academy students, faculty members, the supporting staff and administrators.
The guide talked about the history of Palestine, and the injustice to which the Palestinian people were subjected by the Israeli occupation, indicating that Egypt always stands by the Palestinian people in their struggle to regain their legitimate rights.
The guide confirmed that Egypt continues to provide aid to the Palestinian people, and that it rejects any plan that affects Egyptian national security, such as deporting the people of Gaza to Sinai.
At the conclusion of the symposium, the male and female students expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people and their rejection of the injustice and violations they are subjected to by the Israeli occupation.
