The Youth Welfare Department at the Thebes Higher Institute for Management and Information Technology organized a competition for memorizing the Holy Qur’an on three levels.

The first level is to memorize the entire Holy Quran
The second level is memorizing half of the Holy Quran
The third level: memorizing two parts of the Qur’an

The competition was held over a school day on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan
A number of 9 students applied for the competition for memorizing the entire Holy Quran, 7 students for the competition for memorizing half of the Quran, and 35 for the competition for memorizing two parts of the Quran.
Sheikh Mustafa Hamed, one of the scholars of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, and Dr. Muhammad Fathi, a member of the institute’s assistant body, tested the students individually in terms of memorization, recitation, and intonation.
After choosing the winners
Professor Dr. Amal Afifi, Dean of the Thebes Higher Institute for Management and Information Technology, honored the students participating in the competition and those who won first places with certificates of appreciation and financial prizes as well.
I thanked and appreciated all the participating students and His Eminence Sheikh Mustafa Hamed for the effort he made during the competition.
